Please consider this Vintage AEG Crystal Deco Microphone (Krystall-Mikrofon fur Magnetophon), circa 1940's. It is made of Bakelite and there are some micro-cracks in the face as pictured. These defects are quite stable. There is about a 5 foot cloth cord which terminates in a small Tuschel connector. I was unable to get a response.
The complexity of the grill is the most novel and my favorite feature of this mic. The oblong, deco design resembles the Ducati bakelite mics of this era but this is about half the size. The rotating switch in the front engages crisply and it appears to be the activating mechanism for a "telefon". I have seen this mic rarely at auction and it is displayed in some European microfon collections on the web.
