The Beyerdynamic M-500 is a Vintage Hypercardioid Ribbon Microphone which was introduced in 1969.  It comes with the Cannon (or XLR) connector and is of low impedence.  This is a "classic" microphone highly desired and fairly rare to find. These are sometimes modified with an RCA 44BX ribbon.  The M-500 "is a dynamic ribbon mic with the warmth, depth and clarity only available from a ribbon design. Its crystal clear top end and frequency response curve of 40-18,000 Hz results in a brilliance and definition that provides incredible presence. Both mics feature hypercardioid polar patterns for extremely high gain before feedback in live situations."  It is included in a list of the Top Ten Wired Microphones Still Used on Stage. In many respects, the M-500 is a legend as it was "the last ˇ°newˇ± ribbon microphone developed by beyerdynamic was the stage ribbon microphone M 500 introduced in 1969. Production of this model was unfortunately stopped a few years ago."

This mike was tested and sounds great. It comes in it's original foam lined case. The model number strip tag is missing from the base. No clip, cable or stand is included.
