Offerred today is one Beyer (Beyerdynamic) M61 200 ohm vintage dynamic (moving coil) cardioid microphone made in 1964. It is in excellent condition, equipped with a small Tuschel connector and with a nice sound through a guitar amp without a preamp. It comes in the original box which has some minor wear. This is a compact, little mike which fits comfortably in my hand. Perhaps a harpist would value this. Otherwise, it is great for vocals, guitar cabs, drums and really anything else in my opinion.

Beyerdynamic was founded 1924 in Berlin by Eugen Beyer originally to manufacture speaker systems for cinemas. They built the first high quality dynamic microphone, the M19, in 1939, hence the name. This link suggests the chronology.

The specs are listed below. No cable, clip or stand is provided.
