The Geloso M416 is a dual ribbon vintage microphone. It was manufactured in between 1952-1956 in Milano Italia and is bidirectional. This microfono is quite rare and sought after by collectors and proaudio people alike. It is tested and has a nice output through my guitar amp and without an additional pre-amp. The impedance is low.

The condition of the mikrofon is good although there a paint chips and it appears it was dropped at one time as a piece of the metal case in the back is missing. In my hands it has been kept in a dust free, dry and smoke free enclosure and I have not abused it.  As stated, the output of this mike is excellent.

I have not been able to find much on the M416 anywhere. You may read about the Geloso Story here although it is more pertinent to ham radio. Here is a link to a pdf on the microphones from which I derived the specs.
