This is a Reissmann (EF12) Vintage Bottle condenser microphone, circa 1920's. The mic is of German heritage and evolved at the same time that Neumann was working his magic. In Europe, the bottle microphone was as popular as the RCA 77 series in the USA. The quality of these mics is well known. Hitler, in fact, used such a microphone to hypnotize and entire nation into genocide. Blue has continued the legency in it's design of many modern mikes (Blue Baby Bottle). The microphone is untested as I don't have cabling or a power supply. Cosmetically, it is good shape. I haven't disassembled this one.
