Offered for your consideration is one antique curio. This novel item is likely from the 1930's and epitomizes the Machine Age in its design. This lighter memorializes the early days of radio and as such, I would like to think that it dates back to the 1940s. Unfortunately, that would be an anachronism as the first butane lighters were introduced in the mid 1960s ;) It was manufacturerd by
Comoys of London, Japan.
This lighter displays nicely and is in excellent condition with few scratches. I put it next to my Lustraphone VR53:

It charges easily with butane and ignites splendidly.
