The RCA Ribbon MI-3043 (a/k/a Type KU-2A, "Skunk") is a vintage Microphone manufactured in 1944. It was considered one of the highest quality professional studio RCA microphones of it's era. The characteristic white strip on the back side of the windscreen won it the moniker "skunk". For a complete discussion of this mike please look here.

The KU-2A was tested using alligator clamps (as I do not have a Cannon to USB cable) and the output is excellent. The OEM shock mount is included



as is the original cable assembly. The cosmetic condition of this mike is excellent. It has not been blown into nor has it been subjected to phantom power in my possession. I purchased the "skunk" from a vendor in the UK. I also bought a box of accessories which included the OEM shock mount (included) and some other mounting equipment. The latter items are being auctioned separately and concurrently.

Mel Blanc, the voice of Bugs Bunny and most of the Looney Tune characters, favored the "skunk".

I pack in a paranoid fashion, double boxed, bubble wrapped and often styrofoamed with shredded papered. The item is usually in a separate plastic bag as well.
